This is not about who your favorite singer is. This is a challenge of who is technically the best powerhouse singer. Dio will be taking home the gold medal, I assure you.

Dio's voice was amazing in that era. He used less growl and more pure singing. "Stargazer" is the greatest song from the 70's, period. It beats all the great songs from that era, in my opinion. Its a masterpiece.

It sounds like Kashmir by Led Zeppelin. They both use the Egyptian musical scale in the guitar playing and they also both have a philharmonic, but Stargazer predates Kashmir by a year, so it appears that Zeppelin stole the idea from Rainbow, assuming thats the song youre refering to.
