That's mostly because anyone who makes less had to leave the state. They couldn't afford it anymore. A lot of these high income people are sucking on the teat of the federal government. They work in Washington DC. It has nothing to do with Maryland's thriving private economy. If you want to see that, just go into the neighborhoods surrounding Balitmore's downtown area. They look like they were the target of a raid by several hundred B-52s.

That's right. I live in predominantly black PG County, MD, with its $70k median income. In spite of that high income we have the second worst schools and second highest crime rate in the state. Only Baltimore city is worse. And democrats cry poverty when high crime and failing schools among blacks is raised. BS.
PG and much of Maryland's economy make their money off of federal government jobs. That means it's stolen money from the rest of the taxpayers. That makes local merchants like me into money launderers.

I have a job, douche nozzle, and a large chunk of my income goes to pay the salaries of the ticks on the ass of society living in Maryland. I couldn't give a rat's ass how much other people have, so long as it wasn't extracted from my pocket at gun point. I suspect that's where your income is derived.
