Information about human health is abundant and readily available to anyone who cares to access it. (However, you will rarely find a source that has all or most of the needed information in one article. You have to 'mine' many such articles to get the full picture). So, considering this why are so many so ignorant or thoughtless about their health?

It isn't healthy to obsess about other people's lifestyle choices.

Human health is foundational to a nation's success. Nothing is more important.

A nice warm shower works best for me. The key to drinking alcohol is moderation, as stated. When I was a drinker, it took two or three drinks just get warmed up to the task.

My point is the "experts" often disagree on what is good or bad for you.

That glass of wine after work "to take the edge off" doesn't address the reason for the 'edge'. It's just another palliative.

Natural resources are far more important. We did the american revolution, civil war, westward expansion, and industrial revolution with half-starved parasite infested people. The longer we live, the softer we have gotten.

Sure but the reason for the edge may not be something one can easily control.

I knew an air traffic controller that said he would drink after work because the job was so stressful.
He could quit I suppose but someone has to do it.

I think such drinking is a social habit more than a need.

. Knowledge is crucial. Sadly, our educational system is unable to provide needed knowledge about our health.

Why are people so ignorant about virtually every subject in the age of the internet with the entirety of cumulative human knowledge on their phones?

Because most people only use it to watch retarded-ass tik tok videos or to bask in their little social media echo chambers that just tell them what they want to hear over and over
