For years socialists like Paul Krugman have been trying to sell the notion that government is "an insurance company with an army". He proclaims this as though it's a good thing. It's not.

OT.....I worked for a workman's compensation agency, the State provided the insurance with no competition. Not only did we operate in the red but we were bringing the State down with us.

Workman's Comp. privatized and a wizard took over what was State. Competition, etc. That agency was soon operating heavily into the black as a private company, so much so they paid big money (profit sharing) to those who carried the policies.

Private>public, all day every day. Liberals love them public, they're always wrong. I think it's their comfort zone quite honestly.
