Citizens United is the great lefty boogeyman. People have the right to spend money broadcast their political views. CU just says you can't stop people from saying things just because the money comes from a certain source.

Of course the left didn't want the restrictions to apply to things like Unions, just companies they don't like, and PACs they don't like.
