I've seen about 30 articles about this on the blogosphere and have sort of ignored it until this:

In Philadelphia, a doctor is on trial for the gruesome murders of eight people inside his low-rent office. A former assistant testified that she personally witnessed the physician commit at least 30 murders. Most of the patients were "beheaded," another assistant said, adding that there was "blood all over the place." If you have not heard of this doctor's trial for committing a terrifying, decades-long string of serial killings, there is a reason. He is an abortionist.

His name is Kermit Gosnell. He was arrested after a 2010 FBI raid at his offices, which were described this way in the grand jury report: "There was blood on the floor. A stench of urine filled the air. A flea-infested cat was wandering through the facility, and there were cat feces on the stairs."

This may sound racist but, in addition to be the left's beloved kind of doctor – an abortionist – he's also black. That should explain the lack of reporting – even on Fox!Oops! 0920a.m. PST just saw a report on Fox!

The media box for reporters has been completely empty but I heard this morning that the Washington Post was going to send a reporter to cover the story.

Which will put the paper directly into liberal cross hairs as they attack it for not being supportive enough for abortion rights.

If the allegations are true, then he deserves to be punished according to whatever statutes, laws he violated.

If you're trying to hold him up as an example of your typical abortionist and/or liberal, then you're failing miserably.

Nice try, asshole. Now go fuck yourself, you racist piece of trash.

oh yeah, notice the silence from the left right here on this board

he should of used a gun I guess maybe then they would give a shit

He certainly seeks the same end result as a typical abortionist and/or liberal.

And the liberal state representatives saw to it that this clinic was unregulated. Now...try getting the pro choice folks to answer how this clinic being in operation providing abortions to women is better than back alleys. They wont answer.

It's one thing to be an abortionist and have a decent, clean and sterile clinic, it's another to run a clinic that was worse than most third world abortion facilities, if you even want to call them that...some places are nothing more than make shift 'clinics' run from a dirty hotel room...Dr. Gosnell and his practice may as well have been run from a dingy, dirty basement.
For anyone, including media coverage for 'womens rights', to side and defend this man just because he provided services for women who still have the right to choose to abort their pregnancies are either deaf, blind, or dumb to the actual situation at hand, or they are so bent on protecting womens right to choose that they are willing to overlook the atrocities that took place in Dr. Gosnells clinic..which, in my opinion makes them just as sick as he is.

Nobody defends what he did, but let's see this for what it is, an attempt by the anti-Choice right to manufacture outrage.

The authorities knew about Gosnell's clinic for years, and did nothing about it.

The tragedy here is that PA has the strictest abortion laws in the country. If you want to see the future the anti-Choice right has in mind for the country, it is Kermit Gosnell.

Actually, it's entirely the Anti-Choice Right's fault.

PA had 22 Free standing abortion clinics 20 years go. That number is now down to 13.

no doubt, you consider that progress, but really, it just makes it easier for a character like Gosnell to operate.

PA is also one of the states where Medicaid can't be used to pay for abortions outside of rape/incest/health. As a result, these poor women waited until they can get the money together.

Not if the community isn't being served, no.

By contrast, PA has 18 Congressmen.

If a state has less abortion clinic than congressmen, then there isn't adequate service available.

Which allows a criminal like Gosnell to operate.

Again, the problem with you guys is that the alternative to Gosnell is safe, clean abortion clinics performing abortions in the first trimester. Because no woman is goign to have a baby she doesn't want.

no kidding, takes the fun out of having sex when you produce a BABY that is a inconvenience..just have it sucked out and be on your merry way

Not quite. It was the state representatives that deregulated that clinic and created the conditions the women were treated in. If anyone has the clinic conditions of Kermit Gosnell in mind for the country, it is the Pro Abortion people that run the state and also the ones now ignoring it and hoping it will just go away. You know...abortion at any cost...right? You all that don't care how the babies get out of the womb...just as long as they do.

And...so...why did the other nine clinics go out of operation? Crappy conditions? No neccessity? What?

Nobody defends what he did, but let's see this for what it is, an attempt by the anti-Choice right to manufacture outrage.

When did you stop defending him? You have made multiple posts in at least two threads saying that he did not do anything wrong, and trying to blame everyone on the right for what happened. You tried to argue that it was Congress's fault for not using Medicaid to pay for abortions, even though Pennsylvania actually covers abortions. You tried to argue that The Republicans who elected Santorum drove every other abortion provider out of Philadelphia, which is absurd. You even tried to argue that I, personally, caused it.

Now you have devolved into a conspiracy theory. How is your deflection into a wackadoodle conspiracy theory not a defense?

The authorities knew about Gosnell's clinic for years, and did nothing about it.

The authorities did nothing about it because people like you insist that anything that interferes with a mother's right to kill is an abomination against nature.

The tragedy here is that PA has the strictest abortion laws in the country. If you want to see the future the anti-Choice right has in mind for the country, it is Kermit Gosnell.

Pennsylvania has the strictest abortion laws in the country? Where the fuck did you get that from? It doesn't even crack the top 10 on NARAL's list, are you making things up again?

Freestanding abortion clinics. Are you aware that Planned Parenthood is not a freestanding abortion clinic because it offers other services? In fact, Gosnell's clinic, which you champion as the only service provider in the entire fucking city of Philadelphia, was not a free standing facility.

Nice try though, I am sure you thought it was clever.
