I have lived all my life here in the (tarnished) Golden State.
And in Los Angeles since the 1940s.
Yes, California is becoming a Hispanic state.
And Los Angeles is becoming a Hispanic city.
There is nothing that can stop this trend. We have passed the point of no return.
Most violent crime in this city, for example, is committed by Hispanic perps and perps from another ethnicity (no need to mention which one). If you click on the website of any Los Angeles TV station, you will notice that there are a few murders every single day in the greater Los Angeles area.
Most students in our public schools are now Hispanic.
Most law enforcement officers are now Hispanic.
Many Hispanic legislators in our state capital help make the laws.
Times change -- whether one likes it or not.
That's just how the cookie crumbles.
I am 84, so ...
But younger people here will have to decide whether they want to stay or move.
But move to where?
I feel that Los Angeles is still better than living in Baltimore or Philly or the Big (Rotten) Apple or Washington D.C., or Chicago or ...
P.S. You just can't beat the wonderful weather. Usually sunny all year long.
