Trump's racist border wall had support all across the political spectrum. It appealed to a big majority of Americans, as effectively as Hitler's discrimination against the Jews appealed to the German people.

Early on most Americans supported a barrier, up until Trump proposed one. Now most Americans support Trump's border policy.

Democracy is pretty hollow when you elect someone to Washington, then they go there and forget about you. You write to them and get a form letter back thanking you for your concern. Their staff opens their mail and most wind up in "file 13".
