I for one like many other Conservatives, Including Martin Luther King Jr. don't judge a person by the color of ones skin but from the content of that person character, and most liberals have no character, other thank being racists, as it goes back to the Southern White Democrats who enslaved people of color.
MLK believed that the black man should have laws specifically for the black man. And since you admire MLK so much you must agree with him.

Why Martin Luther King Was Republican | Human Events
From its founding in 1854 as the anti-slavery party until today, the Republican Party has championed freedom and civil rights for blacks. And as one pundit so succinctly stated, the Democrat Party is as it always has been, the party of the four S’s: slavery, secession, segregation and now socialism.
How do you know a liberal is lying? His/her/its mouth is open.
MLK was never a republican you moron.

He didnt subscribe to the democrats either. He was a race man and you were already provided not only a link but a video of him voicing his thoughts but here are some more.

‘I’m not here to tell you how to vote, ”he said. “That isn’t my concern. I’m not a politician. I have no political ambitions. I don’t think the Republican party is a party full of the almighty God nor is the Democratic party. They both have weaknesses. And I’m not inextricably bound to either party. I’m not concerned about telling you what party to vote for. But what I’m saying is this, that we must gain the ballot and use it wisely.”

No, Martin Luther King Jr. Was Not A Republican — But Here’s What He Had To Say About Them
"
The Republican Party geared its appeal and program to racism, reaction, and extremism. All people of goodwill viewed with alarm and concern the frenzied wedding at the Cow Palace of the KKK with the radical right. The “best man” at this ceremony was a senator whose voting record, philosophy, and program were anathema to all the hard-won achievements of the past decade."
