I suppose I'm not surprised. I just dont know about their civil liberties. Ontario is way behind, we have some of the creepiest people due to the Stasi-like covert police.
Ontario is going to collapse though. Trump seems driven to take our cars. Stellantis was given hundreds of millions from Canada and cut 1000s of jobs. CEO is at the WH recently telling Trump he is going to invest billions and create thousands of jobs in the U.S.

The 2025 Economic Freedom of North America report from the Fraser Institute, released Tuesday, breaks down how much control people really have over their own money, businesses and jobs in different parts of the continent. And spoiler alert: Canada's not looking too hot compared to our neighbours to the south.
The report defines economic freedom as how much say people have in their financial decisions — like where to work, what to buy and how to run a business — without being weighed down by government spending, high taxes or strict regulations
