I suppose I'm not surprised. I just dont know about their civil liberties. Ontario is way behind, we have some of the creepiest people due to the Stasi-like covert police.

Ontario is going to collapse though. Trump seems driven to take our cars. Stellantis was given hundreds of millions from Canada and cut 1000s of jobs. CEO is at the WH recently telling Trump he is going to invest billions and create thousands of jobs in the U.S.

No one can say I didn't warn them. I pay the ultimate price for my honesty.

If you've been feeling lately like you're drowning in taxes, red tape or government rules, you may want to hear this.

A new report has just ranked every province in Canada on how "free" they are economically, and the results show some major gaps between provinces — and even bigger ones between Canada and the United States.

The 2025 Economic Freedom of North America report from the Fraser Institute, released Tuesday, breaks down how much control people really have over their own money, businesses and jobs in different parts of the continent. And spoiler alert: Canada's not looking too hot compared to our neighbours to the south.

The report defines economic freedom as how much say people have in their financial decisions — like where to work, what to buy and how to run a business — without being weighed down by government spending, high taxes or strict regulations

IDK, poorly written article. It jumps all over the place--are they talking about freedom or economics. The headline highlights Canada but the article is all over--N. America, Canada, US. I can believe that ID and SD are 'free' (I question NH), but I don't believe that incomes are higher in those two states than 24 others. Like so many other news accounts these days, very poorly written. Where do they get their editors.

Why didn't you mention it was Alberta?
