In fact the story was quite different. He was on the run from Federal Investigators. He was an "

Now of course the House Committee Chair never mentioned that one of his star witnesses was fact a Agent for Communist China, of course not. It was NOT that the GOP Committee Chair did not know where his Communist Chinese Agent Whistleblower was, it that he he knew of his Communist Chinese Agent Whistleblower would have been arrested the moment his Communist Chinese Agent Whistleblower set foot in the states.
This fact would have destroyed the House GOP Committee investigating H.B. The truth covered up. The lie of his being afraid for life sounded better, but it was and still is a lie.
