No one was alive 3 million years ago. Science has provided us with the knowledge of what our climate has been through time.
Science, also, tells us that humans are affecting climate change. Science, also, provides the information on how to mitigate the human factor. Either you buy into the science or you don't. Don't cherry pick climate data, review all of the climate data that science provides.
Read your own data. Please explain the unusal increase in CO2.
To provide more relevant data, for today's climate, you need to get more granular in your analysis. A graph of millions and millions of years does not provide the information of predicting the next 100 and 200 years. We need to get through that before we start looking at millions of years in the future.

The increase in atmospheric CO2 is due to emissions. According to simple physics the increase of 120 ppm (300 to 420) would account for 0.5C of incremental temperature associated with the radiative forcing of CO2. The rest is due to the planet naturally warming back up to it's pre-glacial temperature before another glacial period is triggered by heat disruption from the Atlantic Ocean to the Arctic Ocean due to temperature induced changes in ocean water salinity and density coupled with changes in wind patterns due to changes in solar radiation.

I believe any numbers before a given date in history are implied and extrapolated, and any numbers after a given date are amalgamations of various measurement points and techniques, all open to misinterpretation, both accidental and intentional.

There are natural increases, in CO2, as seen through history.
What explains the exponential gain in CO2 since man became inductrialized.

Air travel is a major contributor. We can not eliminate air travel but we can reduce the amount of air travel we do.
It is about doing better not eliminating 100% of the contributors of CO2 in the atmosphere. That is all it will take to mitigate the current trends.
