It would put more money in workers pocketbook. It's way beyond time for wages to increase. Wages are woefully low and have been lagging for too long. Want people to work then pay them fairly.

People are paid fairly for their worth. They don’t like that they’re only getting $15 an hour at Walmart? Then they can get some training that would provide them with a job skill that has better market value.

Want welfare people to take those jobs at Walmart or McDonalds? Cut welfare to all able-bodied adults with school-age children. There is no excuse for a 38-year-old grandma, her 19-year-old daughter with a two-year-old, and her 17-year-old son to all be living off welfare, Medicaid, food stamps, a next-to-free apartment - and not a SINGLE one of the three adults has a job.
