The concept is simple. The "fake news" meme gives tacit permission for any trump supporter to dismiss out of hand, without factual refutation, any reporting that forces them to challenge their preconceived beliefs.

Ironically, many of those beliefs are based on demonstrable falsehoods reported by their chosen media sources.

How does one convince a trumple that a falsehood is a falsehood? It's virtually impossible since any factual support used to refute a demonstrable falsehood is immediately disregarded as "fake news."

The construct is perfect for someone, like the Orange Fraud, who wants everything he says to go unchallenged among the minions.

This began with Limbaugh: "Don't trust anything the media tells you. Just trust me".

And that's what they did.

Is that your new childish name to call us? Well, since Trump mopped the floor with democRATs on November 5th, I guess that's about all you have in your arsenal.

Now as to your question. We can tell a falsehood is a falsehood by evidence we can all see. Here is a falsehood:
“The border is secure, but we also have a broken immigration system, in particular over the last four years before we came in, and it needs to be fixed.”

Sept. 11, 2021, on “Meet the Press”
Here is the evidence:
Truth: The border was nowhere near secure in 2021, when encounters topped an all-time of 1.6 million. The Biden-Harris administration scrapped ex-President Donald Trump’s “remain in Mexico” program that forced asylum-seekers to wait outside the US while their court cases were heard. President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris just let them in, and they were never going to leave. The system was not “broken,” they broke it.

Say what you mean. Everything written or spoken left is packed with lies, and you've lost all credibility. There's nothing you can do about it, including your cry for some left-integrity when there is none.

I have no doubt you whole heartedly believe that. You just can't prove it.

Faith in media wouldn't decline if they weren't constantly acting as propaganda outlets. It's not the public's fault that they're putting less and less faith in apparatchiks. It's the apparatchiks' fault.

^^^ Democrats are sheep that believe the msm.
I do not contend the "MSM," as you put it, does not make errors or is ideologically neutral. What I'm saying is over and over trumples disparage the source of information as if doing so makes the reporting false. It doesn't. It's lazy, and it reflects an unwillingness to examine the possibility something they believe is factually incorrect.

Prove it? Ha ha ha ha haaaaaaaaaaaaaa! PROJECTION..............

Everything the left says and writes is packed with lies. It's they who can't prove dick.
