Well, again about slaves, you cannot call yourself a Christian or even humane ifyou subscribe to the idea that we must have a class that we can exploit. Of course you think this is okay, because you believe you are not in that class.
Your defenses little different from the slave owners of the south saying that slavery is a must - for the good of society, for the good of the slaves who cannot care for themselves, and all of the other reasons.
About economics, you were the one who did not know that advanced civilization have only used three different systems, and you are the one who does not have enough of an imagination to envision something better.
About Mexicans replacing Negros, that did not happen here in Iowa. Cheap labor was used to destroy, for example, the meat packing plant unions. In the early 70s, meat packing plants paid $15/hr - which is equal to over $80/hr in today's wages, and those were white Americans who lost their jobs.
And finally, about socialist Venezuela, you do not know economics nor do you know what is going on. First, much of Venezuela's problem is not from it social program, but from the very capitalist problem of "Dutch Disease" - which happens to every resource rich country operating under capitalism. Dutch Disease destroyed Venezuela's agriculture.
Also regarding Venezuela and other countries that you may think are communist, any country that does anything socialist, such as nationalize their natural resources (e.g. oil) so the wealth can be spent on the citizen, will have the US send in the CIA or other forces and overthrow their government. If you do not understand how this has been done in South and Central America, you have not been paying attention.
PS: Currently, in Venezuela, there are forces intentionally forcing down the value of their currency. Try reading the article below!
Currency Abuse Driving Venezuela's Inflation: Central Bank
It has been seen you know little about history and less about economics and now you reveal your ignorance in regards to Christianity.....Slavery is not condemned anywhere in the HolyScriptures...........do you know what Jesus said in regards to slaves? Of course not.
Let me enlighten you................Jesus Says
["Suppose one of you had a servant plowing or looking after the sheep. Would he say to the servant when he comes in from the field, 'Come along now and sit down to eat'? [8] Would he not rather say, 'Prepare my supper, get yourself ready and wait on me while I eat and drink; after that you may eat and drink'? [9] Would he thank the servant because he did what he was told to do? [10] So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, 'We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.' "
Jesus never condemned slavery.
Today of course most abhor slavery thinking in terms of Black Slaves down South prior to the War Between the states.....and unfortunately not knowing anything about it....letting their opinion be determined by Hollywood which is mostly fiction. Not even to mention most liberals have no problem with mexican illegals coming up here to be our servants...in fact they want to let in more....anyone opposed to servant-hood should be opposed to that but of course they are not....demonstrating their hypocrisy .One of the discipleship's most important lessons -- humble servanthood -- that Jesus teaches in this brief Parable of the Dutiful Servants. Also....anyone truly knoledgable about life down South during the era of legal slavery....the great majority of Slaveowners were upstanding Citizens and devoted Christians. All you are doing is revealing how well you are indoctrinated into the philosophy of political correctness....which is falsehood and where does this falsehood come from...Satan via Marxism. Like so many today you no doubt picked up your admiration of Socialism/Marxism whilst in school....not understanding you were essentially being brainwashed.
Anyhow as said every advanced civilization had slaves or something very similar. Think of European Serfs, or the immigrant factory workers in the Northern US towns throughout the Industrial Revolution. Ever heard of indentured servanthood? Likely but unlikely you understand the true nature of it....slaves in everything but name....that is how most who came over here from England in the early days paid for their passage....signed up to be servants. Perhaps Not exactly slaves, but the employers controlled all the money, owned the housing, owned the stores, controlled the wages (and therefore controlled exactly how much those people were able to own),controlled the judicial system(indentured servants were essentially at the mercy of their master) and had political control of the areas. So you’ve got this “ok it’s not quite slavery but how exactly is it different?” dynamic going on there. It’s worth noting, too, that many people today (even in non-slave-owning nations) still benefit from some cheap products associated with slavery. For example, look at the Burmese fish slaves who catch lots of the fish and shrimp used in human food like sushi and canned tuna, and fish-flavored pet food. Etc.etc. and so on and so forth.

About Christianity, I do not take the Bible literally! About slavery, ask any priest or any other member of the church, all the way to the Pope, what Christians think of slavery. They will disagree with you!
Then imagine, if you are a Christian, and you die and stand before God. Then God asks, "I understand that you supported keeping other humans as slaves during your life?" Do me a favor! Make sure I am not in the room when you try to answer that one. It appears you approve of slavery, because you think it will not be you who is enslaved.
About Marx's socialism, according to America's leading Marxist, (actually NeoMarxist) economist Richard Wolff (who has economics degrees from Harvard, Stanford, and Yale) the best example of Marxist socialism in American can be found in the many "farmer cooperatives" in operation all across America.
Maybe socialism or Marxism is not what you think it is!
Catholicism is paganism....they do not follow the Holy Scriptures. The pope is a marxist. case closed. Again...........you should really read the Scriptures before you try to place something there that is not there. The communist doctrine was famous for it's slogan of ......"from each according to his ability....to each according to his need" The problem with that of course is that it does not take into account human nature. That is why communism has always failed. Now you will find some isolated pockets of economic organizations here and there that might sound like socialism to those who want to think that....and some would even claim that social security is marxist .....and there are some isolated examples of socialism that have actually worked aka the kibbutzim in Israel.....but a state or nation that totally embraces and is dedicated to socialism or communism and forces everyone in the state to kowtow to socialism/marxism/communism quickly descends to totalitarianism and a failed state is the result. Of course there is no perfect economic system on this earth...but Capitalism by far has benefited the most people and allowed them the most freedom.
“The key to understanding Marxism's renaissance in the west,”
a 2012 article in The Guardian noted, is that, “for younger people, it is untainted by association with Stalinist gulags.” This retrospective amnesia alternately reveals a generational ignorance about the ideology and nature of communism as well as evidence of the need to educate the public about its horrors.

Roman Catholicism -Christian or Pagan?
Well, we can drop the issue of religion, because of this comment, "Catholicism is paganism." It is not! Yet, beyond that, Christianity is the source of America's value system. If you think it is not, tell me the origin of America's family values. With or without religion those values are not consistent with capitalism.
About taking "into account human nature", humans are social creatures, and capitalism is not social. Or as Margaret Thatcher, a big supporter of Neoliberl capitalism, said, "They are casting their problems at society. And, you know, there's no such thing as society. There are individual men and women and there are families."
About, "some would even claim that social security is Marxist", no! Social Security is socialist, but Marx was not talking about issues like Social Security. If you read Marx, this is clear.
About "there are some isolated examples of socialism that have actually worked", there are thousands of successful small businesses all across the planet. Yet, I can even give you an example of a large corporation that is Marxist - that is, worker owned and managed. You need to read on the history of the Mondragon Corporation of Spain.
About "a state or nation that . . . forces everyone in the state to kowtow to socialism/marxism/communism quickly descends to totalitarianism", Again, any state, for the last 100 years, that has tried socialism has been destroyed by America's policy of "regime change." But worse, America's capitalism is descending into an oligarchy, and, if you cannot see that, you are not paying attention.
About "Capitalism by far has benefited the most people and allowed them the most freedom", actually, it is not capitalism, but technology that has made life better. Plus, the technology, in America, is based on government supported research through our university system. The iPhone is a good example, virtually every component in the phone, from silicon chips to GPS, was invented by way of government research. All Steve Jobs ever did was take existing components and put them together into a new product. He "invented" nothing new.
About "Stalinist gulags", Russia was never Marxist, particularly starting with Stalin. Read Marx and you will know this. It is like saying China's economy is "communist", because the country is called "Communist China." News flash, China has no, that would be zero, social safety net.
And finally, about "nature of communism”, clearly you have not read Marx. Yet, 150 years after he wrote, Marx is still influencing the world. Maybe Marx has more to say than you think. You should try reading Marx directly rather than listening to what others have to say about him.
