Where was your outrage when Bush sent over 12,000 members of the military to perform humanitarian relief after the 2004 tsunami? Why? As has been pointed out earlier in this thread, they aren't treating any Ebola infected persons and the US military has completed numerous humanitarian reliefs missions in the past. The military personnel shouldn't be in africa. The military personnel shouldn't be quarantined.g5000, known idiot, let's take a little logic problem.
Explain the differences in the following:
Medical and media persons working with and near Ebola patients, no or voluntary quarantine.
Military personnel working with or near Ebola patients, mandatory quarantine (in most cases outside the US).
Foreign nationals flying into the US, a health screen at the airport, no quarantine.
Our military doesn't exist to perform "humanitarian relief" missions.
