Jackson ran for the Republican-Democrat Party in 1824, the Democratic Party was not formed until after his second election win in 1832.

I was in Cherokee as the casino was being finished back about 15 years ago.
The engineering firm we use on some jobs was doing that job. They had bunch of us down for the opening. From the pictures I see now the main road leading up to it has completely upgraded and revitalized businesses wise
