The difference between voting against Condoleezza Rice and Loretta Lynch

Condoleezza Rice was allowed an actual vote. Some voted against her, but they voted.

Loretta Lynch is not being allowed that chance.

Even the most ignorant of the USMB right wingers know it's within the Senate Rules to call a straight up vote not attached to any bill. The whole thing takes 10 to 20 minutes.

Does it matter who votes for or against if the vote isn't allowed in the first place? Just more voter suppression from the GOP.

Lynch would be voted on and likely approved within a few minutes of Democrats abandoning their obstructionist filibuster over actual important matters.

But they won't.

Republicans could pull a "Reid" and go "nuclear" but this time the Democrats are stewing in their own juices. Let'em stew.

The majority determines the senate calendar, get over it. If it were up to me there would never be a vote on any of your dear leaders nominees. Cooperation is a two way street, it's time maobama learned that.

Democrats should have shown up and voted in the last election....

What was it Obama said about elections?? Oh I remember...here it is : "You don't like a particular policy or a particular president? Then argue for your position. Go out there and win an election."

We did. Deal with it.

Democrats are pissed that Lynch didn't jump over everything else to be number one on the agenda just because she's black.

When a black man commits a crime he deserves to pay for it like everyone else. Lynch would have special rights for blacks and that isn't fair.

This is why we must oppose her. She's nuts.
She has a long history as a prosecutor. Cite all the cases where she has given blacks special rights.

Keeping in mind that I am no fan of either party...

What was it you on the left were fond of saying back in '08 and '12? Elections have consequences...

Tell the Dems to stop with their blocking tactics on the Sex Trafficking Bill and she'll get her vote.

It really is just that simple.
