it was at one point 35% of work force. That is huge. Even today it is huge influence which explains why huge companies from all over the world leave the north and locate in the American south where there are no unions. Most estimate unions shipped 20 million jobs off shore.

Having been married to a Mexican for 25 years, I am somewhat aware of the culture and mores of the Hispanic community.

Democrats will NEVER split up Hispanic families! Never!

When a young, unmarried woman has a child, she absolutely knows she can turn to her family for help. It is their heritage that parents will always care for their children -- no matter their age.

At the same time, Hispanics will do any and everything possible to be independent and stand on their own two feet. It they do need government help, they will continue to work and do what they can to get off that aid as soon as possible.
