Packing the court refers to adding to the number of justices so you can appoint more of them without waiting on someone to die. The Republicans are not packing the court, they are taking advantage of a justice dying to replace her with one more to their liking. Big difference.
McConnell's goal has been to pack the court with republicans since Obama took office...

He filibustered and used any procedural measures to block over 200 empty judicial seats of Obama nominations...

Then he did not even give President Obama's Merrick Garland a hearing, for his supreme court nominee,

Then when Trump became president, McConnel and the entire Senate has done nothing but fill all the Obama era judicial openings with repub judges...

Including three supreme court seats, by McConnell nuking thr filibuster, for supreme court justices seats...

And now by ramming through an empty supreme court justice opening 3 weeks prior to an election, which all republicans said they would not do, with Garland, 10 months out from an election

YES, THAT IS ALSO, COURT PACKING.
LIAR Mitch NEVER said NO Nominee in an election year you lying BITCH, he said NO nominee for a democrat President from the Republican Senate. Further if you are to stupid to do the search yourself I can google the list again of all the TIMES in the past a Senate has NOT voted on a Nominee by a President. There are about a dozen of them.

Do you know what Court Packing is ?
Yes, sweetheart. It's appointing conservative judges that will hand down rulings based on right wingers belief in a mythical sky pixie that thinks that individual choice is BAD!!!
Why?...Fear...of course.
Well, no...that isn't what Court Packing is.

Hard to imagine any adult is that ignorant.
You do fit the bill. :)
C'mon, tell me. What do you fear?
no you're either a moron or a troll, you never answer a question.....you do insults and then try to be cute....it's because you can't think for youself, if you don't have a talking point, you can't take the info you know and come up with your own original plan or thought.....we deal with lefties all the time.......

it's why lefties love chants...someone makes one up and all you have to do is chant it, you prob don't pay attention to what's in the chant....you're just a drone

For example, you called me alt right..what does that mean?
Well, let me insult you more...retard. Stacking the court involves placing appointees that you believe will rule in your favor...right or left to extend your agenda..whatever that may be.
Alt-right encompasses the hatred or dislike of anything/anyone who isn't white/heterosexual/Christian (leaning).

Got it? There will be a test shortly. :)
The conservative agenda is the Constitution.

That's why you hate it.
Nope. You hate it because the Constitution was intended by the founders to be a living, breathing document. Not the static Grail you want it to be. I think it's been amended 27 times since it was written?
That's conservatism's biggest failure. Just..can't..evolve.. :)
The founders put a process into place to change the constitution. They deliberately made it difficult. So your claim they wanted the constitution to be a “living breathing document” is a lie. If you want to change the constitution write an amendment, get two thirds of the senate, three quarters of the states and the sitting president to agree with you. Until you manage that the constitution as written by people a lot smarter and far more principalled than you will stand.
Sorry. Rhetorical speech will not get around the fact that the founders intended the document to grow and evolve with the times. No matter what the right wing constantly brays that it is.
The document is not static. That is not a lie. That is fact.
BY amendments not by cherry picking Judges to change the meaning of a law.

We knew this would happen.

There are several democratic senators who are not that stupid.

From the article:

As I’ve written before, even if Democrats have a wave election and manage to garner a 51 or 52 seat majority in the Senate, the idea that they would have the votes to court pack has always been suspect. Joe Manchin would be expected to be a hard no, and he’s confirmed that now. Diane Feinstein has also said she wouldn’t support a move despite her fairly liberal demeanor as a Senator from California. Overall, pretty much any red-state Democrat would be very tempted to not go that direction as it would jeopardize their re-election chances.

So, no court packing.

Now what ?
No, not now what? Democrats know full well packing the court is a very risky move. They have no idea how America would react to that. And the senators that are already in place don't want to jeopardize their position. If by some chance Democrats were to take the majority in the Senate, they would be all over this like white on rice, trying to convince all the peons how packing the court would be such a good idea.

Democrats ought to run on packing the Court/doubling size, etc. In conjunction, they should campaign on eliminating the Electoral College. It will not only show radical transformation on their part, it will show what petulant children they can be when things don’t go their way. They’ve already warned us that there will be violence and destruction in the streets should Trump appoint a justice.

Swell. Splitting hairs. LOL. You checked on Thomas lately? :)
Nope. Adding justices that have similar views as the president is a time honored tradition, has been going on for a long time. Adding more seats to the court, however, for the sole purpose of bumping up the number of ideological appointments is not, and FDR was rightly slapped down for trying. And why would I check on Thomas? Is he going to retire and give TRUMP! yet another appointment?

That's especially rich, coming from the side that wants the US to "progress" to the condition of the Soviet Union circa 1964.

All you know about conservatism is the lies you leftists tell yourselves. And you're gullible enough to believe them.

You don't object to your definition of court packing -- when the Democrats do it.

Just go ahead and say you want SCOTUS to decide law based on the leftist agenda, ignoring the Constitution when it gets in the way.

The ACA is trash, just run health insurance like car insurance
ACA was just supposed to be a stepping stone to FREE government healthcare for all for FREE you know, FREE as in paid for by massive Dem tax increases.
It was designed to crash the system entirely so people would clamor for single-payer.

And they react like toddlers told they can't have a new toy when the right doesn't perform as ordered.

No it isn't. The judicial filibuster was removed by HARRY REID and he was warned at the time by republicans that it would come back to haunt the democrats. There is nothing in law or the constitution determining the process for vetting a president's nomination of judges or justices. The party in control of the senate makes up the procedure to suit itself. The democrats trashed all the traditional rules when they had control to setup an advantage for themselves. The republicans are simply playing the same game. Nineteen justices have been proposed in election years, seventeen of them were confirmed, and at least two were confirmed after the controlling party LOST the election. All Obama had to do to fill empty judge seats was to propose judges and justices that were acceptable to the party in control of the senate. That had been done hundreds of times before. He refused to do so. During the Obama presidency the democrats decided to play hardball and it cost them the senate in 2014, even more seats in 2016 and the presidency in 2016. What sticks in your craw is that the democrats have been stacking the courts with liberal judges and justices for over eighty years and the republicans went along to keep the peace. The republicans finally learned that the old saying "if you pay the Danegeld, you never get rid of the Dane" is true and stopped playing nice. Bipartisanship is gone, for the next century all you will see is naked party power government.
