Did Americans whine in the 1960s when there were plentiful union jobs and people who worked in the construction trades were well paid?

Why did AMERICA companies start hiring illegal even though it was illegal.?
Why did AMERICANS start buying Chinese goods over USA goods.

It is the AMERICAN consumer who drove the change. They bought less expensive goods even if a company used low paying illegals or the product was manufactured in the USA.

It is chicken shit to blame it on the deep state when it was the American consumer drove the changes.
