Throughout most of U.S. history, the President, be him Democrat or Republican, has too often forgotten the value of life. War is not a game-- it should be used in self-defense or to combat an imminent threat that cannot be resolved diplomatically, not simply to show the prowess of the U.S. and create a global market of capitalism.
