It keeps those millions of undocumented people from voting. That is the problem that is solved.Refute this...........

Millions of Americans Don’t Have Documents Proving Their Citizenship Readily Available
Requiring Americans to prove their citizenship to register to vote would exclude millions of citizens from the political process.www.brennancenter.org
...........and explain what problem voter ID laws solve or STFU.
I have plenty of evidence. You have no evidence in support of your assertion.
You’re “solving”a problem that doesn’t exist and in the process disenfranchising tens of millions of LEGAL voters. It keeps those millions of undocumented people from voting. That is the problem that is solved.
As for those people not being able to get ID, you are just plain full of shit, as does the Brennan Center, which, if memory serves, is nothing more than a deep left think tank. I'm being magnanimous with the word 'think' here, since they clearly don't.
It does exist, dispite the gaslighting of the left. You’re “solving”a problem that doesn’t exist and in the process disenfranchising tens of millions of LEGAL voters.
You’d almost think that was the goal… because it is
You JUST SAID that legal voters would be turned away.It does exist, dispite the gaslighting of the left.
The only people being disenfranchised are illegal aliens.
No legal voter will be turned away unless they fail to meet legal deadlines.
I said if they failed to meet legal deadlines. You JUST SAID that legal voters would be turned away.
And you can’t demonstrate that illegal voters are anything more than an anomaly
Again… your “legal deadlines “ would turn legal voters into people that can’t voteI said if they failed to meet legal deadlines.
Do you know why we are still not voting in the 2024 November elections?
Because the legal deadline has come for it to end.
The next election is 258 days away.
If you cannot get a proper ID, one that the states will provide to you for free, then you are not deserving of voting in the first place.
Or do you think that there should be ZERO personal responsibility to meet the very minimum standards of law in this country?
Last year, the Brennan Center partnered with VoteRiders, the Center for Democracy and Civic Engagement at the University of Maryland, and Public Wise to survey Americans about what identification they possess and what they know about voter ID laws in their state. We also asked respondents whether they had documents that prove their citizenship — a passport, birth certificate, or naturalization papers — readily available. Our research indicates that more than 9 percent of American citizens of voting age, or 21.3 million people, don’t have proof of citizenship readily available. There are myriad reasons for this — the documents might be in the home of another family member or in a safety deposit box. And at least 3.8 million don’t have these documents at all, often because they were lost, destroyed, or stolen.Their research.
The data shows with absolute certainty voter fraud in the US is virtually non-existent. Therefore, voter ID laws will not make elections any more safe and secure than they already are. Do you know why? Because the data shows with absolute certainty voter fraud in the US is virtually non-existent.
There is only one reason R's are pursuing voter ID laws. The paranoid delusion of one man whose ego will not allow him to accept having lost the 2020 election.

GFY.
His ego wouldn't allow for him to admit defeat. Now he is using the means at his disposal to rig future elections.Correct. Trump created this conspiracy theory to try and steal the 2020 election because he knew the low human capital on the right would buy into it hook, line, and sinker.
There is none so blind as those who will not seeFar left crazies....
I rest My case.
If non citizen voting is so rare then why are leftists against showing ID's so much? And don't give me any crap about poor people and stupid people can't get ID's. That's simply not true. You need ID's to do many things in this country. You can't drive in this country without an ID. You can't collect benefits without an ID. There are several other things you can't do without an ID.Noncitizen voting is rare. So why is Washington so focused on it?
Republicans are zeroing in on proof-of-citizenship requirements — even as critics warn federal support for election cybersecurity is quietly shrinking.
A flood of Republican-backed efforts to tighten voter ID laws is serving as a distraction from more serious threats to the American voting system, according to top election security experts.
“[Washington] is chasing false narratives and leaving open all the vulnerabilities that are only worse now,” said Michael McNulty, policy director at Issue One, a bipartisan organization that tracks election issues.
Experts like McNulty point to recent rollbacks to frontline programs that protect state and local elections, as well as cuts to the top federal agency that guards electoral systems, as key threats ahead of the midterms. But lawmakers are focused elsewhere: They’re currently debating policy measures to crack down on noncitizen voting and move election certification authorities to the federal government.
The batch of bills brought forward by Republicans includes the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) America Act and the Make Elections Great Again Act.
Unpacking Myths About Noncitizen Voting — How Heritage Foundation’s Own Data Proves It’s Not a Problem
This is in line with other analysis carried out following recent elections. For example, a 2017 Brennan Center analysis of 42 jurisdictions which tabulated 23.5 million votes in the 2016 election found that noncitizens were referred for investigation in just 30 cases—or 0.0001% of votes.

A close examination of the evidence put forward by critics shows just how extraordinarily rare noncitizen voting truly is.www.americanimmigrationcouncil.org

If that man was actually concerned with the safety and security of elections, this...........recent rollbacks to frontline programs that protect state and local elections, as well as cuts to the top federal agency that guards electoral systems, as key threats ahead of the midterms..........would not be happening.
The is no counter factual argument to made about this thread. Why? The data shows with absolute certainty voter fraud in the US is virtually non-existent.
What?Again… your “legal deadlines “ would turn legal voters into people that can’t vote
By your own admission
Agreed. But I am not the one who is blind. There is none so blind as those who will not see
I have no idea what the **** you are trying to sayWhat?
Do you feel that because you can no longer vote in the election held in 2024, that you have been turned into a voter who cannot vote?
Do you follow any line of logic in life at all?
In 258 days, we will hold the midterm elections. There are deadlines on when a mail in vote has to arrive and any time after that deadline means the vote won't get counted.
It is a LEGAL deadline.
So, answer the question.
Do you believe that citizens don't have to meet the bare minimum civil responsibility in our nation? Are all laws thrown out the window until such time as you win? Is that how you see the world?
