This wouldn't be a source of conflict if Republicans simply respected a woman's right to privacy.
Or if the left respected life,willing to toss a living human in the trash for faux outrage over privacy
Hey, I have an idea. Let's have the GOP guarantee a life-time of health care, a free private school education and a career for all children scheduled to be aborted, and for each such child who goes to term, to be adopted by a married Republican Couple - a man and a women, of course - who promise to raise the child in a manner as directed by the Chairperson of the GOP national committee. Problem of abortion in America solved.
Or, we can offer age appropriate sex education as part of a comprehensive health curriculum for every child in America, which includes age appropriate information on contraception, conception and birth control methods, sexually transmitted disease and free Condoms, Birth Control Pills, IUD's and other means of preventing pregnancy.
Or, we can continue to piss and moan about the unborn and allow the GOP and Conservatives to use abortion as a wedge issue, an issue the GOP has used for decades and never done a thing about reducing the numbers of abortion in any way or manner. Well, Just say NO! and abstinence education were efforts, and both are failures.
