I watched it for the first time this past Sunday. My initial impression was that of disappointment, but I guess I should give it a few more shows before I draw my final conclusion.

It seriously sucks. Cleveland wasnt a strong enough character to do a spin of with.

I think they were trying to do a spoof on all the black family comedies that were around in the past decades. I think Mr. McFarlane needs to focus on one show... take Groening for example... as much as I loved Futurama, he had the brains to know when he should cut one show to save the other.
McFarlane is over-spreading his talents.
