The boomers did it better

Old people have been saying that for ages, but now its actually true. Here is what went wrong with music....

Computers changed everything. You no longer need to be a good singer, you just use autotune. Easy peasy, right? WRONG!!!!! Autotune singers dont have the training and knowledge that real singers have, so youll notice that no one does anything interesting with autotune. No cool runs, no amazing vibrato, just droning tones that happen to be in tune. No autotune singer is ever going to bring tears to anyones eyes. Real singers can do that, but autotune singers are incapable of bringing out emotion from the listeners.

The same exact issue exists with beats too. These dipshits arent drummers, so they never come up with anything clever or even pleasing to the ear. They loop some silly beat on a machine and call it good. You dont get anything unique, no awesome drum fills, just a bunch of looped horseshit.

No one actually plays piano, they just get their Casio keyboard and produce some 4 note monstrosity that again... loops forever. Its a bunch of uninspired horseshit.

Songs today are rarely made with any actual musical knowledge. These retards couldnt tell you what a "bridge" is to save their lives. The art of song crafting has taken a massive hit with this lazy ******* technology.
All true. The music industry also punishes originality and rewards conformity.

There is good and bad music in every generation. Just more old farts bitching about youth.
Their youth has nothing to do with it. It's their lack of musical instrument skill.

Seek out good music. It's not hard to find.
Correct, my extensive CD collection. Mostly artists from the 60's, it's, 80's and it's.

But there are some 2000's in there too.

You can easily find today's talent, but you don't want to. 👵👵👵👵👵
Share some. My daughter introduced me to a Japanese genre called vocaloid. Some of it is quite good. But it's far different from my era.

BS.....It was the end of the era of real talent.

It almost sounded like Deep Purple's 1984 "Perfect Strangers" tried to capture the same atonal vibe Zeppelin did in 1975, with "Kashmir"...

To be honest I never hear in much out in public......Tay-Tay maybe.....It's usually "boomer tunes" that I hear in stores and such.

Stands to reason as it's a boomer world....They know who has the money. ;)
.

The organic markets where I buy my groceries have great playlists, of songs that I loved in the 60's and 70's!
