Every one of the lies, and the misdirection, being told about Syria is coming from the people who want to do the bombing. They are determined to turn wars into philosophical moral crusades. Every one of the lies avoids addressing provable self-defense. Not a one of them mentions that bombing Syria when it is not a military threat to the US is a deliberate attack on the national sovereignty of every nation; ergo, United Nations sharpshooters are sucking around the edges waiting for Barack Taqiyya to give them authority in the form of approval.
Here’s a small sample of the lies and double-talk:
As a graduate of Annapolis John McCain knows better.
In 1935 - 36 Mussolini and Abyssinia (Ethiopia) was much more complicated than Hitler annexing the Sudetenland in 1938.
China was a Communist revolution where FDR’s Communists backed the wrong side (Mao instead of Chiang Kai-shek) after WWII ended. McCain failed to mention that Mao’s Communists committed more atrocities, and massacred more people, after they won the revolution than ever did Chiang Kai-shek’s nationalist forces. Research “Who Lost China?” if you’re looking for a fascinating topic. It will be a good training exercise for somewhere down the line when everybody starts asking “Who lost the Middle East?”
My point: None of the above were civil wars, yet McCain cleverly cites them as though they belong in the same category as the civil war in Syria.
NOTE: Washington bureaucrats along with the American media backed Castro before he won his Communist revolution. That brilliant choice almost triggered a nuclear war during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
Incidentally, the phrase “International law” is being tossed around by media Bombers in order to justify military intervention as though there is such a thing as International law. INTERNATIONAL LAW DOES NOT EXIST. Apparently, media mouths do not know it because they are using the phrase more than the Bombers in government use it.
Finally, America always won before bleeding heart freakazoids began choosing sides. WWI was the first, and worst, of those decisions. America was not threatened militarily by Germany, but President Wilson decided to enter the war on Great Britain’s side anyway. Congress agreed. Results: American deaths; 117,000; American wounded: 205,000; an armistice; the Soviet Union, and WWII. Does anyone doubt that Congress will authorize the Chicago sewer rat’s little “no boots on the ground” moral imperative adventure in Syria.
World War Two and Iraq were the only wars where America won a total victory since the Spanish-American War. Had Japan not bombed Pearl Harbor America would not have entered WWII. Think about it in relation to self-defense.

Excerpt. John McCain speaking:
Finally, for who say we don't care about Syria and it doesn't matter to us, I guess Czechoslovakia didn't matter in the '30s and the Sudetenland didn't matter and Abyssinia didn't matter and China didn't matter. Well, acts of atrocity and massacre took place in those countries.
And we paid a horrible price for not paying attention to what happened in those countries. And we paid a heavy price in World War II. We have to pay attention to this region. And we have to bring Bashar Assad down.
