It's an excellent movie about the subprime home loan market which was the basis of the 2008 market collapse. It's a serious subject but it is funny in places. However, the real event was not funny at all for me because I held serval AAA Lehman Brothers bonds that became worthless as a result the subprime home mortgage collapse and the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers..

I've read quite a few of Michael Lewis's books. They are all great reads.

The Big Short movie is also fun to watch.
