Fascist is the other term thrown round a bit. I think that they use this interchangeably with king and Hitler.

As a rule, I think it still effective, and it is vital to try and keep things fresh and not stale since people get tired of the same terms used 24/7, especially when it turns out the world actually did not go up in flames after they leave office.
