Here's one extra heist parable or fable rather inspired by one of my most favorite modern-era neo-diorama films about crime and style, set in England, The Bank Job starring Jason Statham and Saffron Burrows. Hope you like it,
====
The London Bank was the site of a coordinated robbery planned by multiple teamed masked men from Europe. The job was called the bank job, simply. It would involve gold bars worth the effort. This was real anti-infrastructural drama in civilization and in England.
The interior of the bank is really something special, so robbing it requires the perfect plan, which is what our daring and intelligent thieves had derived, out of respect for the United Kingdom and the Queen, of course. This was the perfect bank, really. No one doubts this.
The female executive at the bank in London, Saffron Edwards, was a descendant of King Edward II and was considered a vital personnel resource for the people of London banking at the institution. She'd oversee security matters preventing any masked robber from making a fool out of the people managing the great London Bank.
THIEF 1 (ISAAC SATAN): Algerian-American pirate and real-life daredevil, it's assumed he concocted the entire plan itself.
The gold bars to be stolen were worth too much to consider, so the thieves just wanted to take enough to be happy for the rest of their lives!
The thief team drank whiskey and laid out their guns for the robbery prior to the actual invasion of London Bank, romanticizing about the great thieves of history's past such as Dillinger.
THIEF 2 (AMLAN): Arguably an acrobat, this guy might come up with an alternative escape-plan, should something go awry!
The thieves walked in with both regular guns loaded with bullets and water-guns fitted with inner-protective tubing containing corrosive HCL acid. They told the managers and guards at the bank that they'd shoot either real bullets or real acid, whichever any miscreant desired should they disobey the robbers who demanded complete control over the entire bank during the heist!
Isaac removed the bullets from one of his real handguns and handed it to one of the guards who'd escort him to the gold vault room while Isaac himself kept him at bay with his positioned 'acid-gun' to prevent any display of heroism/courage while encouraging the guard to prevent any such heroics from anyone else inside the bank at the time. There was a rich history of miners digging tunnels in the ground to get to gold and money in banks, but this thief-team opted to just walk in with masks and guns and perform a 15 minute robbery and then flee out the bank's bathroom window.
After the robbery, Interpol female officer Carrie Meadows was assigned to track the master thieves who made off with over $30 million in gold from the London Bank. Inspector Meadows believed the thieves were most likely fleeing to some remote island and ordered the various coastal guard ships to be on the lookout for suspected suspicious behavior on any passenger boats going to islands with campers or future residents. Meadows was both resolute and dignified.
Isaac and Amlan sent Inspector Meadows a lovely ornamented greeting card with the art of Alice Alan printed on it as an anonymous gratuity for not making the cop-and-thief story something more crude...or more devilish!
INSPECTOR MEADOWS: "This was a worldly bank job, and I won't be impressed or placated by modern chivalry romanticization of wily crimes and certainly not armed bank robbery which remains a certain 'leviathan' of civilization depression."
