Argentina's claim to the Falklands is just a distraction from its own incompetence

25,000 servicemen were sent to retake the Falklands in 1982

It doesn't matter what the United Nations thinks about the Falklands Islands. Argentina's broken military is never going to take them back

Countries only own the real estate they can physically hold onto. All the treaties and NGOs and alliances in the world don't mean diddly squat. All that matters is being able to have boots on the ground at the end of the day. The Arggies just couldn't do it in1841, couldn't pull it off in 1982 and can't do it now.

Fuck them.

They really need to let go of this already. Over 95% of The Falklands residents want to remain part of Britain.

Las Malvinas belong to Argentina.....Las Malvinas son Argentinas

Always have and always will.

End of British Colonial story.

End of story.

Why does Argentina want islands inhabited mostly by sheep?

and then I must ask

why the Brits want them?

it's not anywhere close to Great Britain....who do they think they are?

still living under the laws of the Empire?

They can not even stop their British soil becoming invaded by Islam....and they want to rule the world?

F....Them

The translation of this is ....

OUT PIRATES!

LAS MALVINAS BELONG TO ARGENTINE

Argentina kicking the ass of GB

Islas Malvinas belong to Argentina, just like Gibraltar belongs to Spain.

Britain had help though didn't they, Argentina didn't....it's easy to "re-claim" real estate when one has help and the other is basically fighting on their own.

No doubt if it were a level playing field, Argentina would easily have re-claimed what's theirs.

I guess Guantanamo Bay belongs to Cuba?

Who helped the Brits?

The only help the UK got was some intelligence and even then they still had to send forces 9000 miles to the end of an overstretched supply chain. The RN could have easily sank the rest of the Argentine Navy had they wanted to thanks to their nuke subs. The Argentinians simply didn't have the sealift or airlift capabilities to indefinitely resupply the islands.

The junta in Buenos Aries thought the UK wouldn't expend the effort to retake those rocks and got their shit pushed in for their efforts.

I wasn't convinced that the Argentinians still had a military....it is apparent consensus that their military (and their balls as a whole) was rendered completely shredded by the Gurkhas during Falklands. Trolololol.
