I'll admit that I got the link to this clearly conservative site from American Power blog, another right-wing blog. But, after reading it, it makes a lot of sense and explains why leftists are so confrontational and angry. Here's a snippet:

For all the Obama Worship, the left is more united by hatred for Sarah Palin or Ted Cruz than by its support for its own leaders. It derives its identity more from the things that it is against — the middle class, the country, the businessman, the white male — than from the things that it is for.

The leftÂ’s sense of self is strongest when it is attacking, not when it is inspiring, when it is destroying, not when it is building.

This is clear to see by examining posts here and elsewhere. We can all name the anonymous posters hiding behind user names who spew anger and hatred at Gov Palin, Pres Bush, and almost every other conservative who gets media attention. We won't even mention Michelle Malkin, especially when she';s vowed to do everything she can to support candidates running again current GOP leaders who are more to the left than many Democrats already in office.

Oh yeah, and then there's little tidbit from the same article:

The left needs to believe in a vast right-wing conspiracy. It needs the Koch Brothers, Karl Rove, Evangelical Christians, AIPAC, oil companies, defense contractors and every other element of its conspiracy theories to keep its followers focused on the “real” threat instead of purging each other for tone policing, insufficient privilege checking and any other outrage of the week.

Anyone care to argue about it? :eusa_whistle::eusa_whistle:
