The ads are disgusting. WTF USMB?

The ads are random enough that I don't think they're based on other sites I visit. But they all seemed to be designed to grab people's eye because advertisers are figuring out that people don't even glance at ads on Facebook or any other site. Some ways they do this are genuinely intriguing but others are designed to shock the senses with disgust in the perverse hope that curiosity will overcome loathing and we will click on the link.

The bottom line is, USMB can exercise control over the taste of the ads on their site and I'm asking them to do so.

Taboola ads don't go by your search history.

I use firefox and adblocker on my laptop and the ads don't show up but there seems to be nothing to block Taboola crap on an ipad.

I don't get ads on my iPad or iPhone either -- except on free apps. Haven't noticed them on TapaTalk but it may just be that I haven't paid attention.

I feel SO left out.

I actually do have two ads on my page. One is at the top of the page for T-Mobile and one is right under my profile information for Lazy Boy. Those are the only ads I can see. I don't know why ad blocker isn't blocking those ones too. At least they aren't disgusting though.

It is to me too. My wife and I are naturists, and we believe that pornography is a perversion of the mind and our sex obsessed society is a result of puritanical prudism and its ugly cousin, porn. My kids have seen lots of vaginas. Penises too. It becomes natural and uninteresting eventually. Porn and prudism are abuses of the human body.
