Unbelievably bad tackling technique while not fully understanding the situation or repercussions if you miss. Let him catch the ball and then TACKLE him in bounds.....WAIT for him to catch it...maybe even have a conversation with him until the ball arrives? But don't let anything past you.

Hats off to the Vikings though and Case Keenum. He said it was the third greatest moment of his life with the other two having to do with becoming a Christian and marrying his wife. Gotta a root for a guy like that.......

I watched the play again and you are right, he went for a "terminator" hit instead of just wrapping up the receiver in bounds. Instead he took his teammate out of the play who was the only one who might of had a chance to catch Diggs.

The LIons will get there some day before Stafford retires. They have some good talent. All they lack is a couple of playmakers on offense.

He looked like he had his eyes closed
He was not even close on his terminator hit

He just had to wrap him up while he was in the air. He did not even have to keep him inbounds as long as he carried him backwards and took the forward progress

The flip side of the coin for the thrill of victory is the agony of defeat.

Vikes actually played a better game, but then they fizzled out.

Saints with Brees caught up eventually and made it a nail biter.

But ONE bad draft pick fokked it up for everyone on the Saints' team.
