Well it was fun while it lasted but leave it up to a black president who never had any executive experience in his career to allow this to happen. Oh and don't forget under this constitutionally ineligible president the U.S. credit rating was downgraded for the first time in history. If Palin (a pure constitutional natural born Citizen) was president, none of this would have never happened.

Yeah, cuz while the Rs were sending jobs to China, that darn ole Obama was giving companies tax breaks to stay here.

PUH-LEESE.

Typical Steve McGarrett thread.

:eusa_liar:
Don't forget Clinton giving them missle technology which allowed them to go into space as well as develope ICBM's which are now pointed at us.

NEWSFLASH!!! China is our banker. Who do you think loaned the last Repub Admin the money for their last war-of-choice? Don't tell me you think the Repubs put it "on budget"?

Damn, the US really should start paying workers less than a dollar and hour to get the first place back..

or we could pay everyone a " living wage" of $100/hour and put everyone on welfare. Or, here's a better idea, pay every american 100K per year no matter what they do, whether they work or not, or whether they are brilliant or dumb as a sack of nails. Everyone equal, all the same-------------liberal utopia.

Surely there's a number between 1 and 100. I'm sure I've seen them.

Ok, what it is it? What is a "living wage" in manhattan, miami, fargo, baton rouge, boise, detroit, amarillo?

The US Chamber of commerce, a leading republican donor/lobbying group, was/is the biggest proponent of shipping jobs to China. Send them your thanks. For years they instructed their members in the correct way to ship jobs out of country and facilitated contacts with Chinese officials and business groups to ease the transition. While this was going on republican politicians steadfastly claims that protecting American jobs through the limited means avialiable to the government would hurt the economy. Fuck you blaming this on Obama, the good jobs were already gone before any of you "free market" Bozos ever heard of him.

Living wage rates would have to be defined somewhat locally. As the cost of living differs so radically from region to region. I don't think you'd be able to set a national standard that was particularly effective. I don't even think a state rate would work. You'd probably have to set a rate based on the CoL of a particular area to be useful.

Clinton signed NAFTA, fella? Do you actually know any civics history at all, or just that emotionally fueled partisan garbage you feed yourself regularly?

Jobs left this country due to the laws of supply and demand. Unions and high taxes were a big factor. Why is there no longer a textile industry in South Carolina and Georgia? Why is there no longer a commercial shipbuilding industry anywhere in the USA? Why have US steel mills closed? Answer, unions and taxes.

face it, liberal policies have destroyed much of american industry.

Yeah, its a pretty silly argument. Both on the imaginary 'alternate time line' nonsense. And on the 'constitutional natural born citizen' drivvle. The constitution doesn't define a natural born citizen.

And the US Chamber of Commerce supported it.

Of course they did. It's all the same mob of parasites. Calling out republican or democrat to try and display a one up in this government is laughably ignorant.
