Look at my thumb . . .There were no lies and you’re a dope
Key statements from prominent figures:
- President Joe Biden: In October 2021, Biden declared, "...if you seek care at a health care facility, you should have the certainty that the people providing that care are protected from COVID and cannot spread it to you". This was widely criticized by fact-checkers as an exaggeration, as even vaccinated people could experience breakthrough infections and potentially transmit the virus.
- Dr. Rochelle Walensky: In March 2021, the CDC Director told MSNBC, "Our data from the CDC today suggests that vaccinated people do not carry the virus, don't get sick". The CDC later walked back this overly optimistic statement, clarifying that breakthrough infections were possible.
Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases
(NIAID), which is part of the NIH, told Congress in May that the NIH "has not ever
and does not now fund gain-of-function research in the Wuhan Institute of
Virology."
Ebright said: "The documents make it clear that assertions by the NIH director,
Francis Collins, and the NIAID director, Anthony Fauci, that the NIH did not
support gain-of-function research or potential pandemic pathogen enhancement
in Wuhan are untruthful."
In January, Fauci told staff and members of the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic that "there was no science behind" the 6-foot social distancing rule that state and local governments repeated for months if not years.
COVID guidelines caused millions to suffer. Now Fauci admits 'there was no science behind it.'
Many of us could have told Dr. Anthony Fauci his COVID-19 guidelines were doing harm.
