It has already been a dumping ground for unemployed Midwestern auto workers; the Californians will probably leave when the boom ends, which will be soon, probably by next January. All the price gouging by the trusts in every industry will just generate more welfare legislation, since the govt. quit enforcing anti-trust laws back in the Carter-Reagan era and financialized every industry to be all about peddling watered stocks instead of producing goods.

We're already on the way to that now slowly but surely.

Texas is tolerating way more shit than I thought they ever would have before. The state is slipping away from what made it great. The rot started in like austin with the younger crowds growing and spreading their dumbass ideas, then all the people from California are bringing California based politics with them even if they don't realize it, the state is getting hammered with illegals. Unless Texas takes bigger measures and puts a line in the sand they will get damaged beyond complete repair within the next 4 of 5 years.
