Abbott should just start appointing replacements right now and let the chips fall.

The only person with standing to oppose Abbott replacing each fleeing Dem is that very Dem who fled. They must file a lawsuit to stop it and appear in person to proceed. When they appear in court to fight Abbott's replacing them, have the bailiff arrest them immediately. Abbott doesn't even need to be right about whether he can simply appoint replacements. He just needs to force a response. It becomes moot after that.

The people got rid of the last group of Democrats who took.a leak on the voters of Texas about a generation ago by taking our state business to another state. We will do it again at the polls and also we have a way here to bypass any state congress critters who shame Texas by taking our privacy national. We will send them back to start over in the communist-loving states they soughtvout to destroy our State's freedom to serve the loving people our state residents are. And Mr. High and Mighty Judge of the Whole world may have crossed the line by issuing a wrongful ruling on free speech exercised by another branch of our state government.

Here you have to commit a crime before a judge convicts you for it. That judge may be just a little to big for his britches. Now here, that's worse than a crime, because britches weren't meant to be split open to show something that ought not to be seen.

Democrats who are arrested would not face criminal charges and could not be jailed or fined. Law enforcement officers carrying out arrest orders by state officials could only try to bring them to the House chambers.
