Don't forget that it isn't only California that gets extra Reps in congress, Texas does too.

The best solution is to amend the US constitution so that illegal aliens are not counted when proportioning the US House of Representatives.

It isn’t hard. A Constitutional Amendment would do it. 2/3 of the Congress, 3/4 of the states to ratify and you have the Republic of Texas. It can’t happen soon enough IMO.
