Not quite because conservative's issue is with Disney's actual product, not the political views of it's corporate leadership.

They will work for the market he is targeting, high end vehicles for local use to people who can afford to keep an ICE vehicle as well or who don't need to travel by car long distances. He may also make a go of getting small to medium trucks to the point they can be used for local deliveries.

Musk is trying to please two completely opposite views. He is trying to appeal to those who take climate change seriously and are on the Progressive side of things, while still defending fascist and MAGA principles. It is not working out too well for him, obviously. Sell Tesla to Gates or Bezos. Sales will sky rocket if he did.
