I bought one for my wife for her birthday. It was fast , however not a good car. She kept it three months and out of total desperation got rid of it. I was happy she did, I was tired of the trials and tribulation stories.Still rooting for Tesla. Musk wants bailed out of his personal debt...and fuck everyone else.Telsa may very well be purchased by a Saudi backed billionaire. And Elon Musk is speaking favorably of it.
A company like Tesla should have never went public. It was a cash grab that grants short-term money falling from the sky.
But the dubious Musk quickly realized that the new found catch came with a string....investors want return on the investments. And have little to no patience for innovation without very clear and provable dollar signs.
Tesla has found itself stuck in investor nightmare.
Going private is what they probably need. But my money is that the Saudi's want to bury it. And Musk is ready for 10's of $millions he would get in such a deal. Can anyone tell me where Saudi money comes from again?? And there it is.

Liberal view...There is a lame commercial promoting electric cars which is obviously directed at the baby boom generation. It features a fossil fuel car with the sound track of the old "Flintstones" cartoon pulling up alongside an electric car with the "Jetsons" cartoon show theme. Will it save the electric car industry. I doubt it.
