Five people were killed and 200 injured in the attack on a Christmas market in Magdeburg on Friday. The main suspect, Taleb Jalal al-Abdulmohsen, did not resist when he was detained by police after the deadly raid while driving a rental car. He had recently posted many messages with slogans and ideas of the German far right and the Alternative for Germany, demanding that the borders be closed because he believed that the government had a secret plan to Islamize the country.
