Only an idiot considers education "woke".

One of the many bizarre elements of this period is the way they've developed this hatred for anyone who works in the government (excluding Presidents and MAGA politicians, of course). They don't know anything about these people, but they hate them.

We probably all know or have known people who've worked for the government (federal, state, city, county, whatever). I wonder how these people treat them. I wonder if they're laughing in the faces of people who are losing or fearing for their jobs.

Is it good to audit and make government as efficient as possible? Sure, and there's plenty to audit and fix. But the hate these people are carrying around inside them, holy crap. It must be awful.

How many 'aides' does a Congress Member have?
How much do these aides make and what benefits are included?

Does the Department of Education need cleansing? Absolutely.
Does the Congress need cleansing and an Audit? Absolutely.

But we KNOW that latter will never happen.

Apparently, you don't know what that word means, yet you used it. What percentage of education costs are paid by the federal government? What apart of those funds are required to be spent on special education and reading programs for poor students (Title I)?

It is if you're a Teacher and you're in on the grift. "Education'' in this Country is THE biggest grift that is going on.

Somebody tell me why it requires a 4-year degree, and mountains of debt, to teach the 2nd Grade. Go ahead. Tell us.

I know a Teacher in Ohio making 6 figures and she does next to nothing all day. And gets 3 Months off. And a butt-load of vacation days. And Teacher days (whatever they are) and every holiday (Federal AND State) known to man.

A great many people coming to Florida to buy 2nd Homes are Teachers. That ain't exactly lower-income, folks.

Germany ends the school day before lunch. They send the kids home before lunch.

Our educational system is a giant grift.

What's happening now isn't an audit. It's a free-for-all. every program they dislike or don't understand is being killed. Look what happened with the nations nuclear readiness and safety folks.
