Well, why don't you look up the data on the LFP or some of the other new batteries. Many have lifespans that will exceed a million miles.

Because they aren't used in EV's now and because I know that the performance of batteries that are used in EV's now deteriorate as they age and because that is what's relevant to the test these guys conducted.

But mostly because... I'm not talking about their lifespan I am talking about their tendency for their performance to degrade as they age. In other words, charges don't last as long. So they won't achieve the same performance as they age that they do when they are new.
