Teachers Celebrate Death of Charlie Kirk

Why are they not free to speak their minds and ideas? Is America becoming more fascist under Trump and fascist judges he and his admin select? Sad.

No, it's the demofascists who are not allowing free speech. Where have you been, under a rock?

Wow, you really like to lie! Homeschooled kids don't take the same tests as public school students,
They do in the peer reviewed studies. They take, for example, standardized tests administered by non-family members.

You can also chart the higher college entrance exam scores achieved by private and home school students.

Speak for one school you worked for please.
My accurate remark came to me from teachers.
Again you told us that you worked for one school and how you were miserable so you quit. It seems very logical that hundreds of thousands of public school teachers had your same experience. And you said your public school teaching days ended over the parents not working with you. I say it is logical this is how public schools suffer all day long. We do not hear of private schools having such problems.

Never contradict the midshipman, he knows ALL! Just ask him.

I thought we wanted the federal government out of education, right? Now you want more federal regulations?
Standards, e.g. if you don't meet the standard for reading to move on to grade 3, then you repeat grade 2 or are tutored enough to pass the reading standard required by grade 3. No sex. No politics, no personal opinions. There should be no time left for that bullshit.
Hell, start by using China's curriculum and then surpass it.

So you do want standards? I thought everyone opposed them when they were only voluntary.

BTW, you are talking promotion policies which have nothing to do with standards. But you didn't know that did you?

Then why did you make a statement that is not true if you don't believe in federal standards? Promotion policies are at the district level in almost every case.
We are graduating kids that can't even read. There needs to be guidelines.
Be careful what you wish for.
Excellence is what I expect. Whatever China is teaching in second grade, we should be teaching in first grade. Always 1 step ahead.

You don't want us to be educating our children the way children are educated in China. You really don't.

There are guidelines. My grandson had ADHD, and is autistic. He reads just fine, and he graduated in May.

What about those students who do not excel and are farmed out to factories for menial labor instead of attending school?

Once again, your ignorance of reality pops up!

Students who do not excel - the average ones - will stay in high school where they master basic academics, and then enroll in a trade school or certificate program.

Better yet, have two tracks for senior year: the good to excellent students remain on a college prep track, and the average students can select from a range of job-oriented specialty tracks.

Not everyone is college material.

We offer free 2 yrs of college for them to determine what they want. And plenty of trade schools for those who would rather do something else. And factory work pays well, and has benefits. That may be why we don't have a homeless problem here.

What if it is a Catholic school and they don't want Jewish kids attending?

Actually, a lot of Jewish students attend Catholic schools when Jewish alternatives aren’t available.

I’ve never heard of a Catholic school that rejects paying students who are Jewish, Hindu, Muslim, or Atheist.
