Oklahoma prison inmates to begin receiving computer tablets

Inmates at an Oklahoma prison began receiving special computer tablets this week. It's part of a plan by the Department of Corrections to provide inmates at state prisons with free tablets.

Sounds like a decent idea. But how do they prevent the unruly types from destroying them?

No way they could do this in short-term jails.

Possibly place a deposit on the tablet to cover some maintenance cost???
