I can't understand why the helicopter pilots can't avoid hospitals. It's not like hospitals are such a tiny targets that are hard to make out.

A Syrian hospital in Daraa was partially leveled by barrel bombs on Monday night, according to Doctors Without Borders. The group says that it is the 10th medical facility struck by the makeshift explosives in the last month.
DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS
A hail of barrel bombs destroyed a hospital in southern Syria, marking the 10th medical facility in the country struck by the makeshift—and controversial—missiles during the last month, according to a statement released Thursday by Doctors Without Borders.
Helicopters dropped at least 10 of the so-called bombs on the Bursa hospital in Daraa on Monday night, leveling parts of the building. The medical organization says that Bursa was the only health care facility in the area that provided neonatal care and dialysis services.
The attack came just days after a Doctors-Without-Borders-supported hospital in Aleppo was badly damaged by a similar strike, the group says, and is at least the 10th health care facility bombed in the last month by the Syrian government.
