A good start would be to hold people accountable for their own choices in life and stop telling them all their problems are someone else's fault. This mentality has been passed down for generations and is constantly reinforced by news and entertainment media. America's ability to apply logic and reason to solve societal issues is stifled by the fear of being called racist.

I propose that we remove race and ethnicity and other irrelevant traits from all federal and state forms, and all college applications. The information can only be used to discriminate, and no one can change what genes they were born with.

All that matters is if you are here legally, and that you contribute, at least to your own self-sufficiency.

That would be a great start, and it would be all about equal opportunity for all.
