You are 100% wrong. I'm not sure but at least 2 of the justices that were recently appointed by a Republican president had it right when interviewed by senators. They said that several times they as a judge had ruled in a way that they personally disagreed with. They recognized that it was their job to judge a law or a case by the Constitution and not be influenced by personal opinion, even less important is the personal opinion of the judge's spouse.
