Susan B. Anthony's home in Rochester, now a museum celebrating the women's suffrage movement, had neighbors lined up outside the carriage house to cast their ballot on Saturday.
In 1872, Susan B. Anthony was arrested after casting her ballot in the presidential election.

Organizers say they've been working for some time to become a voting site.
"It's a powerful experience no matter where you vote," said Deborah L. Hughes, president of the National Susan B. Anthony Museum & House. "But for the people who've come out the very first day, we were already lined up before the polls opened, it adds a whole level of excitement."
